DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Talent Development Manager to join our team specializing in Human Resources for Cummins Inc.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Enable Strategic HR Decisions – By advising HR business partners on advanced talent development processes, you’ll help shape leadership pipelines, team effectiveness, and overall organizational performance.
  • Drive Innovation in Talent Programs – Your research and design of leading-edge HR solutions will introduce best practices that strengthen talent strategies and foster a culture of continuous growth.
  • Align Global Frameworks with Local Needs – Partnering with leaders to analyze unique business challenges ensures that global talent processes remain relevant and adaptable to evolving market conditions.
  • Establish Enterprise Standards – Setting policies, processes, and tools creates a consistent infrastructure that supports scalability and operational excellence across the organization.
  • Influence Cross-Functional Initiatives – By contributing to project teams, you’ll improve enterprise-wide talent development processes, ensuring they are effective and future-ready.
  • Provide Data-Driven Insights – Delivering metrics and impact analyses empowers HR and business leaders to make informed decisions about talent investments and development priorities.
  • Shape Organizational Culture – Your role in defining and evolving talent development strategies will directly influence how the organization attracts, retains, and grows its people.
  • Coach and Empower HR Partners – Through guidance on tools and processes, you’ll elevate HR capabilities, enabling them to meet both enterprise-wide and localized talent needs.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement – Driving enhancements and supporting change management ensures that talent development remains agile, impactful, and aligned with business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Expert Facilitation Skills – Ability to lead engaging discussions and training sessions that encourage collaboration, resolve conflicts, and drive informed decision-making.
  • Strong Change Management Expertise – Proficiency in applying structured processes and tools to guide individuals and teams through organizational change, ensuring adoption and sustained results.
  • Strategic HR Consulting Mindset – Skill in diagnosing business needs, balancing stakeholder priorities, and delivering holistic talent solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Data Analytics Proficiency – Competence in interpreting qualitative and quantitative data, applying statistical and visualization techniques, and presenting insights that enable data-driven decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.

Experience:

  • Significant level of relevant work experience required.

Additional Responsibilities:

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in corporate HR disciplines such as Talent Development or Talent Management.
  • Previous HRBP experience to understand business rhythms.
  • Previous experience in HR Consultancy companies
  • Global or matrixed organization exposure.
  • Availability and comfort working with stakeholders in the EST time zone.

This role will support HR team for HR, Eng and Strategy. Ability to support stakeholders in the EST time zone, ensuring responsiveness and partnership. Also, ability to go to Cummins office to attend important meetings when required by stakeholders.
