Project Manager – ONESOURCE

We are now hiring an ONESOURCE Technology Implementation & Consulting Project Manager to lead the delivery of software implementation projects within the Indirect Tax consulting organization. You will work closely with project teams, peer project managers, sales, customer service, clients, and partner consulting teams.

About the Role

As a ONESOURCE Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

1) Service Delivery & Portfolio Management
  • Manage an assigned portfolio of Thomson Reuters implementation projects.
  • Direct project teams and own end-to-end delivery.
  • Ensure strong planning, quality control, client management, and customer satisfaction.

2) End-to-End Project Management
  • Lead project planning sessions to define scope, approach, and delivery plans.
  • Manage multiple complex projects/issues simultaneously, often requiring subject matter expertise.
  • Drive operational improvements, efficiency, and results.
  • Meet revenue and utilization targets as defined by management.

3) Communication & Status Reporting
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status updates.
  • Share knowledge and updates across the broader organization.

4) Delivery Leadership
  • Provide guidance and leadership to team members (and/or manage a team).
  • Make routine decisions within established guidelines, including approved exceptions.
  • Manage or contribute to project cost control, forecasting, and budget recommendations.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables; maintain accountability across the team.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support broader organizational goals.

5) Consulting & Subject Matter Expertise
  • Deliver consulting services to external clients in tax technology, legal, and global trade domain as part of Thomson Reuters Professional service team.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support customer deliverables.

6) Travel
  • 40–45% travel is required.

About You

To be our ONESOURCE Project Manager, you will likely have:

  • 12+ years of core project management experience (with project management certification e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
  • 15+ years total experience in ERP, tax, or technology domains.
  • Experience delivering consulting and technology implementation projects with diverse teams and large customers, including MENA and global clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple parallel projects end-to-end.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • O2C (Order-to-Cash) and/or P2P (Procure-to-Pay)
    • Indirect tax, e-invoicing, or related tax technology processes
  • Background in tax technology or professional services organizations (e.g., systems integrators, ERP consulting firms, Big 4), ideally supporting large enterprises.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, including stakeholder management with senior client leadership, partners, and consultants.
  • Fluent English (Arabic is a plus).

Highly Desired
  • Integration/implementation experience with enterprise tax products such as ONESOURCE Tax Determination, Pagero e-invoicing, Taxware, Vertex, Avalara
  • Experience with implementation and rollout of large ERP programs and/or Tax transformation and/or E-invoice solution implementation project management.
