Director, Visa Direct sales will lead sales acceleration for Visa Direct focusing on key accounts and projects across the region and will be responsible for partnering with sales leaders to achieve aggressive sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of Visa Direct. We will be working in an agile environment so this person must be influential in demonstrating the value of Visa Direct, proactive in ensuring we achieve our goals, and skilled in pivoting and adjusting as new information and lessons learned come to light.
This is a matrix, cross-functional role so organizational savvy and interpersonal skills are critical, as we interface with specialized product groups, financial institution sales, merchant and acquiring sales, client consulting, marketing and corporate communications, legal, and finance to coordinate the end goal of achieving aspirational objectives.
Visa is looking for an individual that is a thought leader in strategy and business growth with a proven record of success in fast-paced environments with demanding timelines.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will be highly adaptable, possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple work streams. This role requires a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, creativity, and ability to work with stakeholders in different market settings and functional roles. The candidate must be highly collaborative, strategic, customer oriented and bring a structured & disciplined approach to driving growth in CISSEE region
• 10 years of work experience with a minimum of 7 years in account management and B2B sales. A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, Computer Science or other similar discipline or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA)
• Creative Self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully developing, building, launching and commercializing technology products that delight customers
• Industry related and leadership experience, including experience leading commercialization teams, product management, strategy organization and/or management consulting
• Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence. must be able to interface with senior client executives
• Fluent in English with advanced spoken and written ability. Skilled at holding client conversations to clearly articulate technical solutions and the ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences in an approachable manner with experience in stakeholder education and training delivery.
• Demonstrated thought leadership and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business results
• Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating across functional activities, and obtain buy-in
