    Position Overview

Autodesk's Technical Advisory organization is seeking a Director to lead the Platform & Productization team within Global Delivery & Solutions (GD&S). This is a pivotal leadership role at the center of Autodesk Consulting's transformation from traditional consulting to a digital consulting strategy—a fundamental shift driven by AI disruption in the technology and professional services markets.

Reporting to the Senior Director of GD&S, you will own the organization that transforms innovation and implementation intelligence—knowledge captured from hundreds of customer engagements—into scalable digital products and services that serve thousands of customers globally. You will lead Content & Knowledge, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to build and operate the platform infrastructure that powers Autodesk Consulting's new model: a unified digital experience combining AI-mediated access with human-delivered services.

This role requires both 0-to-1 product innovation and product scaling skills. You will drive rapid prototyping of new offerings while simultaneously scaling our digital offering and service catalog. You will need to ensure recommendations delivered through digital offerings are contextual, clear, and outcome-driven, balancing automation with human interaction. This includes making decisions where multiple implementation approaches exist, and ensuring advisory guidance remains consistent and credible across regions and industries.

You will work closely with the Senior Director and Autodesk Consulting leadership to define and adapt our digital strategy, then execute with velocity to deliver measurable business results. You will set up continuous feedback loops with delivery teams globally, learning from customer implementations to inform product priorities.

Success demands someone who thrives in ambiguity and moves fast—particularly as AI reshapes customer expectations for professional services. You will define success metrics and use data analytics to drive product decisions. You will coordinate across organizational boundaries while keeping a sharp focus on your domain. You can learn quickly, adapt continuously, and hold your team accountable for outcomes in a rapidly changing environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Build and lead cross functional team comprised of Content & Knowledge, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams, fostering product excellence and technical innovation

    • Define and execute the product strategy for Autodesk's digital consulting platform, including knowledge infrastructure, tools catalog, and service offerings

    • Drive 0-to-1 product development alongside scaling existing platform capabilities, using rapid prototyping and iterative development to test and refine product concepts

    • Establish product management discipline across a diverse portfolio spanning platform capabilities, industry solutions, tools, and services

    • Own the translation of field-delivered consulting experience into scalable, AI-enabled advisory offerings

    • Define and govern Autodesk Consulting’s advisory intelligence model, including transformation paths, maturity models, decision logic, and escalation boundaries between AI-mediated and human-delivered services

    • Define success metrics and key performance indicators, including measures of advisory effectiveness and customer outcomes, using data analytics and experimentation to drive product decisions and optimize results

    • Establish and maintain continuous feedback loops with customers, consultants, and field teams to inform product priorities and validate product-market fit

    • Ensure platform architecture is scalable, resilient, and compliant with corporate policies and SOC2 requirements

    • Partner and engage with Research, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Field Teams, Legal, Finance, Revenue Accounting, Sales, and Customer Success to drive alignment and execution

    • Manage engineering delivery, platform operations, and tool development on time, on budget, and on quality

    • Contribute to organizational strategy and FY planning as a member of the Autodesk Consulting extended leadership team

    • Attract, hire, and retain high-performing product and engineering talent while fostering career development, global collaboration, and high standards

    • Champion company culture and values and lead organizational change initiatives to improve execution efficiency

    • Conduct performance reviews, develop career advancement plans, and implement succession planning strategies

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 15+ years of experience in product management, platform development, or digital services leadership roles

    • 5+ years of experience building and leading high-performing product and engineering teams

    • Demonstrated success taking digital products or SaaS offerings from concept through launch and scaling them globally

    • Experience managing product, architecture, and engineering functions as an integrated organization

    • Track record of using data analytics and experimentation to drive decisions and measure outcomes

    • Experience establishing and operating feedback loops with customers and stakeholders to inform product strategy

    • Track record of delivering results in ambiguous, fast-changing environments with evolving requirements

    • Strong business acumen with ability to translate customer needs into product strategy and measurable outcomes

    • Excellent communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders across functions and levels

    • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), manufacturing, or media & entertainment industries

    • Background in professional services, consulting, or services-to-product transformation

    • Hands-on experience building and launching AI-enabled products or platforms

    • Technical fluency with platform architectures, APIs, data systems, and modern software development practices

    • Experience defining or operationalizing transformation frameworks or advisory models
