Skills and Competencies
- 10+ years of experience in a client-facing, pre-sales, or consulting role within the information services, data analytics, or enterprise software industries
- Proven technical expertise in third-party risk management, supplier risk management, AML/Financial Crime compliance or enterprise risk data solutions
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture, including end to end data workflow design and multi-source integration
- Deep understanding of structured and semi-structured data and formats including JSON, XML and CSV and past experience with SQL, Python, or APIs for data integration is encouraged
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required as a minimum
Responsibilities
Serve as the functional and technical expert and design the solution to address client needs through Moody’s products and capabilities in AML/KYC and Data Management and AI solutions. Key responsibilities include:
Driving Sales and Customer Engagement
- Partner with frontline sales and practice leads as the presales lead for Moody’s data and KYC solutions
- Act as the technical subject matter expert of Moody’s KYC and data solutions
- Track and keep up with the regulatory requirements particularly around Third Party Risk Management and KYC compliance from global and regional regulators and translate into solution-led engagement strategies
- Advise on data governance, validation and transformation processes
Technical Data Integration and Analytics Expertise
- Actively lead discovery sessions to propose optimal solution designs and integration approaches
- Map Moody’s solutions to client needs, developing custom solution designs where necessary by leveraging Moody's portfolio of data and applications
- Showcase Moody’s value as part of proof of concept (POC) activities
- Lead the development of RFI/RFP responses
- Support sales colleagues, relationship managers, and partners to drive the pre-sales process from opportunity qualification to solution alignment and deal closure
Internal Enablement and Feedback:
- Deliver enablement sessions on technical positioning of integration capabilities
- Act as a bridge between clients and our product development teams, conveying market feedback and client requirements to inform product enhancements and innovation
