*This position will be Part-time with a maximum of 19 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Education

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Current Enrollment : You must be a current student in high school or in a college/university pursuing a degree in Technology, Science, Engineering or related fields is preferred.

Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Technologically inclined individual.
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. highly preferred
  • Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods highly preferred
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
  • Strong organizational skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

Description for Candidates:

This position is for a STW - Technical Support Analyst role with Conference Room Technologies department. As part of the Conference Room Technologies team, the person will have the opportunity to develop technical skills on Audio Video Conferencing systems (Zoom Rooms, Team Rooms etc.), Video Conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams, WebEx), PA systems, Audio DSP (Digital Sound Processors), Interactive/non-interactive displays, and Digital Signage systems (Brightsign, AppSpace) for installation and troubleshooting of the equipment in the Conference Rooms across Cummins facilities and LAB. The resource will work with the Conference Room Technologies team to evaluate new technologies in the LAB, provide required support for large events including equipment transportation, setup, and tear-down, extend support for the escalated user issues, coordinate with OEM support, and documentation of SOPs for equipment installation and configuration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Zoom Room provisioning, configuration and monitoring using Zoom cloud meeting platform.
  • Manage the Zoom Phone integration with Zoom Room using Zoom Cloud Meeting platform.
  • Manage integration with other meeting platforms like Microsoft Teams, WebEx and Google Meet.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot issues with Conference Room systems, Audio/Video equipment and Digital Signage devices.
  • Work with the remote support team to carry out the firmware, OS, and application updates for the equipment.
  • Co-ordination with Hospitality and Conference Room Technologies team for the A/V equipment requirement and setup for large events (offsite and Cummins facility). This may include transportation of equipment, setup, and teardown.
  • Manage the Conference Room Technologies stock rooms and keep track of inventory.
  • Keep information up to date in Global Repository for Conference Rooms globally. Work with suppliers to gather required documentation including elevation drawings, connection diagrams, post-upgrade pictures, equipment inventory including serial numbers, and warranty details.

Qualifications and Competencies:

This position is an onsite role at Columbus, Indiana and may require occasional travelling between the Cummins facilities within Southern Indiana.

Additional Information:

The position also requires the ability to lift and move A/V equipment up to 50 pounds.
