    Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant (EA) to support the Senior Vice President (SVP) of CAO Finance and the VP of Audit & Advisory Services. This is more than a traditional support role—you’ll be a strategic extension of the SVP’s office and a core member of the leadership team. You’ll manage day-to-day leader enablement, drive team engagement, act as a culture ambassador, and help coordinate high-impact projects. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and thrives in fast-moving environments. You’re someone who takes initiative, communicates clearly, builds strong relationships, and knows how to get things done. You’ll bring strong judgment, discretion, and a mindset focused on making the team stronger, more connected, and more effective.

This position will report to the SVP, and this is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and prioritize the SVP’s schedule, travel, expenses, and key deliverables with high accountability, attention to detail, and discretion.
    • Serve as the “chief culture officer” for the team—planning events, sparking engagement, and proactively finding ways to keep a global, hybrid team connected and energized.
    • Help craft team-wide communications, letters, and presentations that are polished, clear, and aligned with leadership tone and values.
    • Lead or support cross-functional team initiatives and act as a light project manager to keep deliverables on track, especially for complex or ambiguous efforts.
    • Handle meeting planning, staff agendas, follow-ups, expense management, and shared systems (distribution lists, directories, tools) to keep everything running smoothly.
    • Represent the SVP with professionalism in interactions across all levels of the organization, handling sensitive topics with discretion and care.
    • Work closely with other EAs and team members to align priorities, coordinate across stakeholders, and help improve how the team operates.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 4–6+ years supporting senior leaders, with a track record of building trust and keeping complex schedules and priorities in sync.
    • Strong communication skills—clear, confident writing and the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and formats.
    • Demonstrated experience planning team events, coordinating engagement initiatives, or fostering team culture across regions.
    • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once, especially those involving cross-functional collaboration.
    • High emotional intelligence—discreet, approachable, and skilled at navigating sensitive or nuanced situations.
    • Proficient with collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Slack, Teams, SharePoint).
    • Willing and able to travel for occasional team events or leadership offsites.

    The Ideal Candidate

    • You anticipate needs before they arise, solve problems before they escalate, and constantly look for ways to improve how the team works.
    • You thrive in people-focused roles, build strong relationships across teams and time zones, and bring energy to team culture and engagement.
    • You write clearly, speak confidently, and adapt your tone and message to different audiences—from polished team-wide updates to informal coordination.
    • You juggle priorities, move fast without dropping the ball, and can run with projects that are complex, cross-functional, or loosely defined.
    • You handle confidential information with care, earn trust quickly, and take pride in being the person others rely on to get things done.
