Position Overview
At Autodesk, we’re building the future of Access Administration for our cloud platforms. As a Software Developer (New Grad), you’ll contribute to services used globally.
You’ll work on distributed systems, and develop your skills in reliability, performance, and cost efficiency. If you’re passionate about clean architecture, scalable platforms, and growing your impact, you’ll thrive here.
Responsibilities
- Experience with building API's using Node.js or Python
- Excellent knowledge of REST API standards, Graph and web services
- Experience taking requirements to build reusable service modules
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving issues
- Active member of the agile environment
- Using AI tools in dev process
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Requirements
- Building distributed asynchronous systems
- Experience in AWS and services like SQS, SNS, Elastic Search, Dynamo DB, RDS, Elastic Cache etc.
- Demonstrates SDLC best practices in coding standards, code reviews, tests and delivery
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum, continuous integration/delivery, and modern development practices
- Strong foundation in CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, networking, and basic distributed systems concepts
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent training & experience)

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $68,700 and $94,490. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.Diversity & Belonging
