    Position Overview

Autodesk is on a mission to lead the Design and Make category — reflecting the growing convergence between design and make across the industries we serve: Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations; Product Design and Manufacturing, and Media and Entertainment – in a connected, data-driven ecosystem.

We’re seeking an Analyst Relations (AR) Manager to help us shape how industry analysts understand and define this category and the industries we serve to help shape market perception and ultimately drive growth for Autodesk’s business.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Corporate Communications & Analyst Relations, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Autodesk’s influence with the world’s most important industry analysts. You’ll develop and execute engagement strategies that strengthen Autodesk’s position in key research, amplify our innovation narrative, and drive understanding of the value we deliver to our customers across industries.

This is a strategic and hands-on role — perfect for someone who thrives on storytelling, navigating complex, cross-functional work in a matrixed organization, strategic relationship-building, and helping a global technology leader establish new market leadership position.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, storytelling, and influence; by the opportunity to help Autodesk lead and define the Design and Make category; and on building trusted relationships that move the market conversation forward.

    Responsibilities

    Shape Category Leadership

    • Help define and drive Autodesk’s Design and Make narrative within the analyst ecosystem

    • Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, Product and Strategy teams to align analyst engagement with Autodesk’s category leadership goals

    • Ensure analysts understand Autodesk’s role in connecting design and make workflows across our industries — and how this vision differentiates us from competitors

    • Identify opportunities for Autodesk to influence how major analyst firms describe and segment the industry

    Analyst Engagement

    • Build and manage strong relationships with key analysts across firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and others

    • Coordinate analyst briefings, inquiries, and events to communicate Autodesk’s vision, innovation roadmap, and customer success

    • Manage Autodesk’s participation in major analyst evaluations (e.g., Gartner Magic Quadrant, Forrester Wave, IDC MarketScape) with precision and excellence

    • Partner with our AR agency to deliver ongoing analyst strategy, engagement, and measurement

    Internal Collaboration

    • Prepare executives and SMEs for analyst interactions — including briefing materials, messaging, and follow-ups

    • Capture and synthesize analyst feedback to inform Autodesk’s messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy

    • Summarize and distribute key analyst insights to internal stakeholders, helping inform decisions and strengthen alignment

    Program Operations

    • Track and measure AR program impact, including perception, sentiment, and share of voice around Autodesk’s Design and Make leadership

    • Maintain the analyst engagement calendar, database, and coverage tracker

    • Support planning, reporting, and budget management for the AR function

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 6+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Corporate Communications, and / or Marketing in the B2B technology sector (agency or in-house)

    • Proven success managing analyst relationships and research evaluations with top-tier firms

    • Strong understanding of how industry analysts influence enterprise technology decisions and shape emerging categories

    • Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex technology concepts and craft compelling narratives

    • Highly organized and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail

    • Experience using AR management tools and coordinating with agency partners

    • Experience contributing to category creation, MQs, or repositioning efforts

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with Autodesk’s industries and design and make technology

    • Product and technology communications experience

    • Comfort and experience working with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams
