Statusphere is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team and help us achieve key product and business outcomes by leveraging expertise in visual and interaction design, design thinking, and communication. You will work closely with leadership, product managers, and engineers to execute an outcome-based product strategy in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Establish good design practices with a focus on interaction design
• Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle and multiple product launches
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and leadership to understand problems and design effective solutions within time constraints
• Communicate plans, progress, and blockers in team review meetings
• Ask clarifying questions about the intended impact of work, weigh options, and devise creative solutions to complex problems
• Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes, prioritizing stakeholder needs
• Advocate for users and stakeholders, supporting opinions with experience, data, and industry best practices
• Assist with training and onboarding of team members as needed
• Contribute to team and individual development
• Foster an environment that supports Statusphere’s core values, encouraging team members to speak up, contribute ideas, and collaborate effectively
• Align and motivate product team members to execute on technical strategy and vision to meet deadlines
• Contribute to and execute the product team roadmap
• Provide regular updates to VP of Product and Engineering on progress, risks, blockers, mitigation, and issues

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have 7+ years of experience designing enterprise cloud-based solutions
• Have 5+ years of experience or equivalent working in a startup environment (a plus)
• Are experienced in end-to-end user experience processes and workflows, including user journeys, task analysis, wireframing, prototyping, and evaluative research methods
• Are proficient in Figma
• Have experience designing web apps for user personas, including creators and enterprise customers
• Have experience designing mobile apps for iOS and Android (a plus)
• Can effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines with little to no supervision
• Possess excellent communication, teamwork, and project management skills
• Are an ambassador of company culture and help create a place where people love to work

Preferred Education

High School diploma and equivalent work experience.

Travel

Typically less than 5%. Remote environment. No special physical demands required.

Total Compensation

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. Compensation decisions are influenced by factors including education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, market demand, and internal equity.
