    Position Overview

    Autodesk is helping the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry transform how it works by delivering innovative AI, outcome-based design, granular data, hyper-collaboration, and other capabilities. We’re doing this in our flagship products—including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D—as well as Forma, our Software-as-a-Service Industry Cloud.

    Reporting to and partnering with the Chief Architect for AEC Solutions, you will manage operations for the Architecture, Trust, and Advanced Technology team. Our organization’s role is to act as a force-multiplier in the development, delivery, and operation of our software. You will work to establish working rhythms, drive incremental improvement, and create efficiency for the team.

    You will be responsible for program management of critical programs and practices, such as the AEC Software Architecture Council and the Forma Concepts design program. You will assist the Chief Architect in coordination with the Autodesk Chief Architect Council, including participation at company-wide technical events. And, you will coordinate closely with TPMs for our Trust and Generative AI teams, which report to our Chief Architect.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the Chief Architect to plan, operationalize, and execute the Chief Architect’s agenda

    • Ensure tasks are coordinated, progress is consistently monitored, and stakeholders are kept informed

    • Lead and execute key programs, practices, and projects

    • Identify, maintain, and grow key partnerships and collaborations with cross-functional, cross-organization stakeholders

    • Champion continuous learning and communication through knowledge sharing, mentoring, and training, and other activities

    • Anticipate bottlenecks, lead escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance our needs versus technical constraints

    • Simplify technical complexity and lead well-educated decisions across product, engineering, design, and research representatives

    • Communicate progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributors to senior executives

    • Define organization-wide processes

    • Help plan and run offsites, conferences, and workshops

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management

    • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

    • Embody data-driven decision-making while ensuring an inclusive and collaborative culture

    • Experience managing teams with a collaborative and empowering approach

    • Exceptional communication and influencing skills

    • Experience with Confluence, Word, SharePoint, Miro, Airtable, GitHub

    Preferred Qualifications

    • You exhibit a low tolerance for inefficiency and have a burning desire to automate anything that can be automated

    • You are adaptable, customer-focused, and seek new ways to solve hard problems

    • You have a passion for making simple, scalable solutions that can easily be adopted and adapted by other teams

    Salary transparency

    Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $153,000 and $274,670. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
