The Employee Reimbursement Processor plays a vital role within Supply Chain Operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee expense reimbursements submitted through the Citi Travel and Expense (CTE) portal. This involves adhering to Citi's Operating Expense Governance Policy, resolving exceptions, and collaborating with stakeholders to maintain efficient reimbursement workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process employee expense receipts and reimbursements through the CTE portal, ensuring compliance with Citi's Operating Expense Governance Policy.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement processing within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Evaluate expense reports for policy adherence and sufficient documentation, rejecting non-compliant submissions and escalating as needed for approvals or additional documentation.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned areas, participating in training and knowledge sharing.
- Test system enhancements, automation initiatives, and resolutions to minimize processing disruptions.
- Implement and maintain control processes to identify and mitigate risks within the employee reimbursement process.
- Participate in business continuity planning and implementation for the team.
- Collaborate with internal and external team members, leads, and managers to provide updates, gather feedback, and resolve issues.
- Monitor and execute daily/weekly/monthly reimbursement processing activities.
- Proactively identify and resolve exceptions, collaborating with team members and partners to implement process improvements and prevent future occurrences.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience:
- 2 + years of expense processing or in related field.
- Experience in expense processing, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable.
- Experience working in cross-cultural global teams is a plus.
- Accounting background preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
