The Role:
This senior-level role is for a technical leader who will guide an automation-focused development team. The position blends hands-on application development with team mentorship and strategic project leadership, focusing on .NET technologies and new GenAI initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, driving technical excellence and ensuring the successful delivery of complex software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Technical Lead for the Automation Development Team, providing guidance, mentorship.
- Lead the design and development of new applications and system enhancements, with a significant focus on .NET, C#, and automation frameworks.
- Drive the integration of new AI and GenAI technologies into high-priority projects.
- Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation to ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint.
- Provide in-depth analysis and interpretive thinking to define issues, resolve high-impact problems, and develop innovative solutions.
- Handle and resolve production issues, evaluating complex business and system processes.
- Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of how different business areas, including architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals.
Qualifications
- 6+ years' relevant experience in Application Development and systems analysis roles with at least 3 years' experience in a technical lead capacity.
- Demonstrated leadership, team mentorship, and project management skills with a proven history of implementing successful projects.
- Strong programming skills in .NET Core, C#, Web APIs, React, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with system analysis, MVC, microservices architecture, and RESTful API design patterns.
- Working experience with database management systems such as MSSQL and Oracle.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools (e.g., Harness, Tekton, GitHub) and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development.
- Knowledge of Selenium or other automation frameworks is a big plus.
- Experience with Java Spring Boot microservices is a big plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
