Job Description

The Ethics & Compliance department is seeking a Program Manager to manage and enhance Visa’s Global Anti-Bribery Program. This role plays a key part in preventing and mitigating bribery risks through the oversight, execution, and continuous improvement of risk-based controls, due diligence processes, and assurance activities.

The Program Manager will work closely with regional and global stakeholders to identify risks, drive mitigation efforts, and strengthen program effectiveness, including through process streamlining, data-driven insights and automation initiatives (e.g., GenAI – enabled efficiencies).  The role requires strong judgement, operational rigor, and the ability to translate compliance requirements into scalable, practical solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter guidance to stakeholders on anti‑bribery policies, procedures, controls, and risk‑based decision‑making.
  • Partner with regional and global compliance teams to drive consistent and effective implementation of Global Anti‑Bribery policies and procedures.
  • Oversee and execute intermediary third‑party due diligence, including onboarding reviews, ongoing/periodic reviews, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Assist in the identification of State-Owned Entities (SOE) and provide guidance to the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) team on accurate classifications.
  • Perform HR candidate compliance reviews and maintain approvals documentation in the required tracking tools.
  • Conduct periodic anti-bribery quality assurance of Gifts, Travel, and Entertainment (GTE) expense activity and summarize findings for  leadership reporting.
  • Develop and deliver role-based and/or risk‑based anti-bribery training and communications and support completion targets and reporting.
  • Manage anti-bribery support for independent reviews, internal audits, and risk/control testing, including coordination of evidence collection and tracking of any corrective action plans.
  • Partner with the Third-Party Lifecycle Management Program team to lead process and technology enhancements, improve data integrity, and operationalize due diligence workflows.
  • Manage vendor and budget activities (e.g., POs/invoices, quarterly spend vs. budget) and produce periodic reporting.
  • Coordinate and support Compliance Office Visits focused on anti-bribery and other Compliance topics.
  • Develop & enhance training decks & materials and communications on anti-bribery and other Compliance topics to support awareness, consistency and policy adherence.
  • Support North America Ethics & Compliance prepaid program first‑level reviews related to anti‑money laundering and prohibited investment/funding (AML/PIF) risks within defined service‑level expectations.
  • Maintain, enhance, and streamline Anti‑Bribery procedural documentation, including documenting control updates and process improvements.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of experience in legal, ethics and compliance, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, third-party risk management, AML, or related risk disciplines. Demonstrated understanding of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and the U.K. Bribery Act. Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed environment. Working knowledge of due diligence workflows, risk-based controls, and documentation/evidence standards. Experience supporting audits or control testing and driving corrective action plans. Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple ongoing and ad‑hoc activities with clear prioritization. Data- and process-oriented mindset: comfortable analyzing trends, producing management reporting, and improving workflows. Proficiency in MS Suite with advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and synthesize complex information. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple priorities. Ability to manage assignments that are of diverse scope and complexity and require significant initiative and judgement. Proven experience conducting analyses and producing clear, well‑structured outputs. Professional Certification: Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) or International Compliance Association (ICA) credential is preferred but not required.
