If so, you may be the ideal candidate for our Product Manager Consumer Solutions role in the German market. This position is part of the Buyer and Seller Solutions team within the Central Europe Product organization. A key focus will be on (Premium) Debit and Credit cards across POS, mobile, and ecommerce, supporting their development and adoption in Germany.
In this role, you will help advise on different payment solutions for premium card offerings in the German market. You will support product managers by showing how Visa’s payment capabilities can address various use cases—mainly for affluent segments and across different channels (e.g., POS, Mobile). Your input will help clients understand and select suitable solutions, highlighting the value of Visa’s premium products and benefits.
You will also collaborate closely with the Go-to-Market Director for Germany to ensure alignment with ongoing activities in the premium segment. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of Visa’s Premium Debit and Credit strategy by bringing in client insights and feedback.
Success in this role requires a collaborative mindset and a strong focus on the German market. You will work with a wide range of internal stakeholders and across the payment ecosystem. Strong communication skills and adaptability are key to navigating this dynamic environment effectively.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
- Passion for payments and enthusiasm for helping clients enhance their product offerings using Visa Products and Solutions.
- Experience in the German payment ecosystem (issuing and/or acquiring, merchant, or gateway environments).
- Preferably experienced with affluent target groups and premium cards/benefits.
- Collaborative working style with a structured problem‑solving approach to client discussions.
- Ability to manage several client engagements simultaneously and respond flexibly to incoming requests.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work hands-on with client product propositions, user flows, and product materials, and to tailor Visa information to different client needs.
- Ability to combine product knowledge with business and commercial insights.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
- Fluency in German and English.
