Strategy Execution

  • Shape and advance the CEMEA social impact and sustainability strategy and roadmap to deliver on Objectives and Key Results.
  • Align initiatives with Visa global priorities, focusing on empowering small businesses and entrepreneurs through digital tools, knowledge, access, and security.
  • Promote financial education to foster economic inclusion and development.
  • Enhance digital commerce security for all users.
  • Demonstrate Visa long term commitment to the communities we serve.

Solution Development and Deployment

  • Lead internal go to market efforts to raise the profile of Visa Social Impact and Sustainability products and identify new opportunities to creatively leverage these products to drive impact and growth in strategic client relationships in CEMEA.
  • Lead regional programmatic and solution deployment with key clients, in alignment with market strategies and in close partnership with Account Executives.
  • Drive localization and use client feedback to evolve and iterate product design, proposition, or implementation models. Provide input into Social Impact and Sustainability product and solution strategies, use cases, and product roadmaps.
  • Manage end to end program and solution delivery with key clients and stakeholders, in partnership with other Visa functions.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with country leadership, Communications, and Government Engagement teams to implement programs.
  • Develop compelling narratives that articulate Visa purpose and impact in priority markets.
  • Establish feedback loops to share insights and best practices across regions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the team contact to facilitate a coordinated response to key client requests for proposals, utilizing the Social Impact and Sustainability portfolio of solutions and capabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust based relationships with key external stakeholders across CEMEA, including Sales teams, VGS, VCA, Data, Product, and Acceptance.
  • Enhance Visa reputation and influence with decision makers through consistent, values driven engagement.

Measurement and Reporting

  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of social and business outcomes in alignment with defined Objectives and Key Results.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications

What you will need...

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors degree or at least five years of work experience with an advanced degree such as a Masters, MBA, JD, or MD.
  • Experience working in the technology and or financial services sectors. Experience implementing social impact and or financial inclusion programs is preferred. Experience in government, politics, communications, and or economic development is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver an aligned plan across multiple stakeholders to drive a shared vision.
  • Demonstrated success in emerging markets building long term partnerships with leading organizations in the public and civil sectors.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with a flexible and adaptable approach to support broader market strategic initiatives as needed.
  • Team player with experience working regionally or globally across cultural, geographic, and time zone boundaries.
  • Creative and resourceful in overcoming barriers and unexpected roadblocks.
  • Excellent understanding of and passion for social impact and sustainability.
  • Proven ability to think ahead, engage proactively, and take initiative with the ability to influence and enable teams and colleagues across the business without direct reporting relationships.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Knowledge of Arabic is preferable.

  • Experience working in the payments industry.
  • Experience working in markets outside of Egypt.
  • Experience in building and managing deal pipelines and sales management for high impact and growth execution.
  • Strong understanding of financial inclusion, financial education, and small and medium business needs.
  • Understanding of the intersection between social impact, government and regulatory affairs, and communications.
  • Global mindset with knowledge of different cultural ecosystem landscapes and the ability to connect these to Visa business goals.
