Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Lead, the Allergan Aesthetics SASS Finance Business Partner provides financial leadership and strategic decision support to the Aesthetic Division Leadership team in SASS. The role is responsible for all brand-related financial planning, reporting and analysis across Plan, Latest Best Estimate (LBE) and Long-Range Plan (LRP) cycles. The position partners closely with SASS Finance Lead and Country Manager to deliver insightful analysis and recommendations, taking into account business dynamics, market conditions and resourcing requirements.

In addition, the role supports cross-portfolio initiatives, drives profitability and performance analysis and contributes to effective project management and continuous improvement.

  • Financial Business Partner - Lead the financial planning processes for the Aesthetics Division in South Africa, ensuring accurate and timely integration of sales forecast, pricing strategies and investment resourcing across all brands.
  • Management all reporting activities including but not limited to: LBEs, Plan, LRP, Monthly Sales and Budget monitoring. 
  • Ensure financial planning deliverables are accurate, clear and concise for Management-level reviews, approvals and decision-making.
  • Partner closely with the SASS Finance Lead to ensure appropriate and sustainable resourcing levels aligned to business priorities.
  • Deliver robust financial analysis and monthly sales insights that clearly link financial performance to business strategy across SASS.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Commercial teams to develop financial models that accurately reflect market dynamics, including market share and market growth. Ensure consistency across brands in financial templates, deliverables and key analyses.
  • Decision Support/Special Projects - Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for business presentations and special projects, offering insight into key business drivers and enabling Leadership to adapt tactics and strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Support and manage cross-portfolio initiatives and support Marketing team on brand financial requirements, including Commercial Models and marketing analytics.
  • Partner with SSA Business Development Lead to support Distributor governance, including monitoring of commercial and financial performance and compliance with agreed financial terms.
  • Manage the month-end close processes for the Aesthetics Division, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial outputs.
  • Identify and drive continuous process improvements, including the development of standard and ad-hoc reports, analytical tools and Excel-based dashboards

Qualifications

  • University degree (Accounting/Finance/Economics). MBA preferred
  • CA / ACCA / CPA / CMA would be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 7 years Finance & business partnering experience in Pharma / FMCG
  • Hands on experience on MS Office, MS Excel, Power Point, SAP and Power BI
  • This position requires an individual with the ability and desire to proactively search out and evaluate business problems and opportunities.
  • Prior experience collaborating with commercial teams and business partner mindset.
  • Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills / fully fluent in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
