Job Purpose

Join our company as a Service Technician and become part of a multinational team, delivering high-quality technical support while working with diverse colleagues across global operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performing post-sales technical service activities on: industrial batteries (lead-acid, GEL, Lithium, etc.), high-frequency battery chargers, monitoring systems, and EnerSys IoT devices.
  • Carrying out technical inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, repairs, and commissioning activities, ensuring the operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of installed systems.
  • Analyzing battery usage conditions at customer sites, identifying opportunities for technical improvement and performance optimization.
  • Actively promoting and proposing EnerSys value-added solutions, including: service contracts for scheduled maintenance, digital and IoT monitoring solutions (e.g. Wi-IQ), technological upgrades, and rental solutions.
  • Supporting customers in understanding the operational, economic, and fiscal benefits of EnerSys solutions.
  • Collaborating with the Sales teams to manage field activities and develop new business opportunities.
  • Collecting field feedback and reporting issues and improvement opportunities, contributing to the continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Ensuring accurate completion of technical documentation, service reports, and full compliance with EnerSys procedures and guidelines.
  • Representing EnerSys at customer sites as a brand ambassador, ensuring professionalism, reliability, and a results-oriented approach

Qualifications

  • Technical diploma in electrical, electronics, or mechanical engineering.
  • Previous experience, even of a few years, in technical service on industrial systems, preferably in the battery sector, forklifts, industrial equipment, or related fields.
  • Good knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, industrial batteries and chargers, and technical diagnostic tools.
  • Strong customer-facing attitude with the ability to propose technical and commercial solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured, results-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driving license (Category B).
