    Position Overview

Autodesk empowers innovators to design and make a better world. Fusion is
our integrated cloud platform for CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB, increasingly
powered by AI-driven capabilities such as intelligent design assistance,
    automation, and data-driven workflows.

As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the
quality, reliability, and trustworthiness of AI-enabled features. You will
develop independence in test planning and execution, contribute to
automation, and collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, and
product teams to validate both traditional software functionality and AI-
    driven behavior.

This role is ideal for QA engineers who are excited to grow their skills in AI-
focused testing while continuing to build strong foundations in functional,
    integration, and automation testing.

It's a hybrid role based in Kraków.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze requirements and clarify scope with stakeholders; apply risk-based thinking to prioritize tests.

    • Contribute to test plan creation and maintenance, ensuring coverage for both deterministic features and AI-driven functionality.

    • Execute test cases, validate results, and report progress; prepare defect reports and test summaries.

    • Troubleshoot typical technical problems using checklists and diagnostic guides; escalate complex issues appropriately.

    • Actively participate in scrum ceremonies and cross-functional discussions.

    • Test and validate AI-enabled features, including behavior consistency, boundary conditions, failure modes, and user impact.

    • Apply critical thinking to identify risks specific to AI systems (e.g., data sensitivity, non-deterministic outcomes, model drift, edge cases).

    • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure testability and observability of AI-driven functionality.

    • Contribute to defining and executing AI test strategies, including exploration testing for intelligent features.

    • Support evaluation of AI-related defects and help prioritize issues based on user impact and risk.

    • Support test automation efforts that scale with the speed of AI-enabled development.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mechanical, or equivalent experience.

    • 2–4 years of professional experience in software QA or development.

    • Familiarity with Agile development practices (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives).

    • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

    • Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python or similar).

    • Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team.

    • Familiarity with CAD concepts and willingness to learn quickly.

    • Understanding of how AI/ML-powered features differ from traditional deterministic software.

    • Ability to think critically about non-deterministic behavior, edge cases, and risk in AI systems.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Fusion or similar CAD/CAM platforms.

    • Exposure to AI testing techniques, tools, and methodologies
