DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against invoices and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Accurately sort, label, and store materials in designated warehouse locations to maximize space and efficiency.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and stock reconciliation activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and reporting of hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and support career growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or warehouse operations are a plus.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks); valid forklift license may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
QUALIFICATIONS
Attractive remuneration for a residentially based role located in Karratha. The successful applicant will be required to work 5.5hrs /day Mon-Fri, giving the candidate the flexibility to manage their work life commitments within school hours. This is a full time equivalent role (FTE) that attracts an 20% remote location allowance (RLA). Onsite training will be provided to the right applicant - to be successful the applicant must possess:
