You will be part of the People Team in the Central Europe cluster (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Netherlands) with a direct reporting line to the Senior HR Manager Central Europe and work closely with the People team. In this generalist role you will be working on a variety of topics mainly related to HR operations. Although based in Frankfurt, you will be part of the larger European People Team, and work with colleagues from across Europe who sit in the different COEs (i.e. Talent Acquisition, Benefits, Payroll, etc.).
Tasks & Responsibilities
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
- support with our internal People Ticket system (1st level support)
- drafting & issuing of German employment reference letters (Arbeitszeugnisse)
- support with monthly payroll updates & inputs
- manage the administrative off-boarding process especially with regards to end of contract documents for leavers
- prepare a variety of documents (i.e. Employment confirmation letters, contract amendments, parental leave documents etc.).
- support with the evaluation of data and preparation of communication material
- maintain and improve the way we archive HR documents both paper-based and digital.
- support on specific HR projects (i.e. Inclusion & Diversity, WorkDay data audits, time recording, etc.).
- independently manage low complex queries received from employees and managers
Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Business Psychology, Business Law etc., or currently enrolled in a Hochschule (minimum 3rd semester), and have gained first work experience through internships or as a working student.
- Excellent German & English language skills are essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Powerpoint, and Excel
- You are a team player with strong communication skills and a hands-on attitude who is eager to learn more in the HR field.

- You will be able to work for us for 1-2 days per week, alongside your studies.
- You will be required to work in-person, in the Frankfurt office
