Brand Manager (Hematology)
Reporting to the Business Unit Director, Oncology

Your role at AbbVie

Drive the strategic direction and tactical execution of AbbVie's Hematology brand. Champion patient-centric innovation, elevate the brand story, and strengthen cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional stakeholder value.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Planning
    • Define and execute robust brand strategies and 1-year tactical plans in alignment with global/area objectives.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor landscape, and unmet needs to identify growth opportunities.
    • Synthesize insights from cross-functional teams and external partners for proactive decision-making.
       
  • Brand Plan Execution
    • Translate strategy into impactful projects and targeted campaigns, ensuring all deliverables reinforce the brand’s positioning.
    • Lead creation and rollout of innovative, multi-channel marketing initiatives that resonate with all stakeholders.
    • Engage opinion leaders and facilitate stakeholder dialogue to enrich brand strategy.
    • Oversee development of interactive CLM content and ensure effective implementation and KPI tracking.
       
  • Field Excellence Collaboration
    • Align in-field materials and activities with strategic goals.
    • Support the in-field team in segmentation and tactical execution to maximize impact.
       
  • Patient Journey Excellence
    • Collaborate on building an accurate patient journey by gathering diverse insights and driving cross-stakeholder workshops.
       
  • Financial Management
    • Co-lead sales forecasting and expense tracking for the brand team.
    • Ensure budget discipline, ROI measurement, and continuous improvement in marketing investments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years professional experience, ideally in scientific or healthcare domain.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional and project management environments.
  • Knowledge of supporting functions (Customer Excellence, Medical, Market Access, Finance, Sales, Consulting) is a plus.
  • Fluent in English + Dutch or French.
  • Strategic vision and business acumen.
  • Strong analytical and project leadership skills.
  • Excellent communicator and influencer.
  • Proven ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Innovation-driven, accountable, and results-oriented.
  • Experience in budget management and KPI tracking.
