As a Mortgage professional you understand the valuable role the Trailing Document Specialist plays in the mortgage lending process and you take that responsibility quite seriously. We are hiring in Irvine, CA and seek Mortgage professionals who feel the same. We 'Do the Right Thing' and we seek team members who conduct business with ethics and integrity.
Our Trailing Document Specialists deliver all recorded documents to the investor once received. Utilizes Final Document Tracking to follow-up on aging documents and analyzing document errors to determine best corrective action. Must work within timeframes dictated by the specific investors to minimize any cost to cure.
2+ years of Post-Closing or other directly related experience is a plus.
Tracking and reporting on Aged trailing document
Communicate with Title Companies and County Records offices to coordinate corrections or obtain missing trailing documents
Independently manages assigned tasks and workflow items to satisfy service level agreements.
Quality focused and industrious. Take pride in work.
Strong sense of urgency
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the skills to handle pressure and meet deadlines under pressure.
Actively resolves problems in a dynamic, process-centered environment.
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
A communicator that possesses strong written and verbal skills

Who you are
As a Trailing Document Specialist, you will gather all recorded Security Instruments and Final Title Policies and deliver them to the appropriate Investor. Ensuring that the company does not incur any penalties due to the late delivery.
Input and maintain information within the LOS (Encompass) including all communication with Title Company/Settlement Agent.
Adhere to all Final Document service level agreements with respect to delivering original documentation to the Investor.
Work with other roles within Post Closing to allow for the timely completion of all daily duties.
Maintain company service level and turn-time standards; specific measurables include return-call times, return-email times, and task completion times
