Work you'll do
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as a Technical AI Instructor and Forward-Deployed Engineer. This role involves teaching technical AI skills, engaging in early-stage engineering work, and incubating innovative products from concept to code. The position will have both client-facing responsibilities and an internal enablement component.
In this role, you will help shape and lead early-stage product development and product incubation projects with a focus on rapid prototyping using cutting edge generative AI tools. You'll additionally support our teams by teaching them to use and implement the tools, frameworks and patterns needed for rapid prototyping with generative AI.

Our in-house agency engages customers throughout their journey, working on projects like AdTech, MarTech, campaign automation, CRM, and lead-to-loyalty orchestration. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 to $198,400.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

- Teaching Technical AI Skills: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on generative AI technologies, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Replit, Airtable, and platforms like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Gemini. Tailor content to various skill levels and ensure practical, hands-on learning experiences for designers, engineers, and product managers.
- Early-Stage Forward-Deployed Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI solutions for real-world problems. Engage in rapid prototyping and iterative development to validate concepts and refine solutions.
- Product Incubation: Lead the incubation of new AI products, from ideation to deployment. Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to bring innovative ideas to life and ensure successful product launches.
- Client-Facing and Internal Enablement: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support on AI initiatives. Additionally, enable internal teams by sharing knowledge, best practices, and facilitating collaboration.

Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years experience in AI, machine learning, and/or data science.
- Experience with generative AI tools for software development, user experience, design, and product management.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with product management and user experience design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
