Job Details

The Strategy Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects across their lifecycle: identifying and structuring the problem, analyzing root causes, developing solutions, communicating project results, and getting buy-in for change
  • Identify opportunities for growth and optimization of businesses, including operational management, capital allocation, profitability enhancement, etc.
  • Perform deep dives on specific businesses to re-asses strategies and opportunities.
  • Work with businesses in the execution of improvement strategies, coordinating and taking active part in the implementation process.
  • Manage all aspects of client service, including planning, prioritizing and organizing projects.
  • Develop relationships with executives in business units, support functions and senior leadership.
  • Carry out business valuations to assess potential acquisition targets to support M&A decisions.
  • Develop intensive financial modeling of new initiatives for business turn-around, working closely with Finance and M&A teams.
  • Conduct in-depth research to support business strategies and identify trends across key business drivers.
  • Develop presentations for senior management and Citigroup Board of Directors, synthesizing key findings of team analyses and recommendations.
  • Raise and present key findings to team leaders.
  • Develop key consulting and analytical skills working for a team of alumni of top bracket consulting and banking firms.
  • Exposure to Citi senior management.
  • Gain deep understanding of businesses around Citi.
  • Develop working relationships with a variety of Citi’s departments and business units, including Product groups, Treasury, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Finance and Risk.
  • Exposure to a variety of topics in a fast-paced environment with challenging, multi-faceted assignments.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with people management.
  • 5-8 years relevant experience


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Desarrollar estrategias de producto, operativas y de implementación en coordinación con evo y los responsables de negocio de cada banca
  • Desarrollar y dar seguimiento a los indicadores de operación y SLAs
  • Acordar y asegurar el cumplimiento de la agenda de desarrollo de productos para cada banca, conciliando prioridades con cada segmento y el equipo de nuestro socio
  • Coordinar la implementación del gobierno acordado con los socios comerciales, especialmente con relación a las reuniones de operación, tecnología y producto.
  • Generar contenido recurrente sobre el estatus competitivo del mercado en el país, así como tendencias que podamos implementar para mantener la competitividad de nuestra oferta de valor

REQUERIMIENTOS

*Licenciatura (Finanzas, Contabilidad, Ingeniería)

*Experiencia previa en negocio de pagos, con manejo de estrategias y visión de construcción de negocio mediante desarrollo de productos, además de conocer sobre los principales factores que impactan en la calidad de los servicios de pago que ofrecemos

*Experiencia en redes de adquirencia, análisis de costos y rentabilidad, visión de plan de negocio integral (visión cliente), además de un conocimiento elevado de funcionamiento en los sistemas y diferentes intervinientes durante los procesos de adquirente y pagos (mínima 2 años)

*Deseable Inglés Avanzado

*Excel intermedio - avanzado
