We're seeking someone to join our Market Risk Finance (MRF) team as a Market Risk Controllers - Backtesting Analyst  in ISG Finance to be involved in supporting the ongoing compliance with existing processes and reporting, and in assessing / developing new processes to meet future Backtesting Regulatory requirements.

In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm's financial and capital resources. This is an Associate level position within the Corporate Controllers, Reporting & Accounting Job Family responsible for the accuracy and control of the Firm's books and records to produce the consolidated firm, segment and legal entities financial statements. The group owns the Firm's financial reporting under US GAAP, International GAAP and the global regulatory regimes. Responsibilities include the development, management and oversight of financial accounting & reporting systems as well as database management. Includes capital and liquidity reporting and external reporting functions.

What you'll do in the role:

  • Develop understanding of key Regulatory rules requirements (European & US rule sets) and ensure proper application to various processes/calculations

  • Implement new processes and controls to meet regulatory Backtesting and capital calculation requirements

  • Collaborate with other departments globally and locally

  • Deliver timely/accurate daily, weekly, quarterly calculations and analytics to global finance partners and Business Unit stakeholders

  • Initiate and participate in process improvements, automation projects and innovation efforts.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline and availability to work full time, fresh graduates and professionals with 1 year experience are welcome

  • Solid knowledge of financial products is a must

  • Background in financial services industry (regulatory reporting, financial and product control, liquidity, treasury) is an advantage

  • Good communication skills, fluency in English

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Self-drive to learn and grow, continuously looking for better solutions to complete tasks
