The Finance Acctg Analyst 1 is a developing professional role responsible for supporting Citi business units globally through the identification, investigation, and escalation of material Intercompany breakages for remediation. The overall objective of this role is to accurately report Citi's consolidated financial statements.
 

Responsibilities:

• Identify, investigate and ensure resolution of material Intercompany breakages for Derivative products

• Support the team in driving initiatives such as process transformations and improvements

Qualifications:

• 0 to less than 1 year experience; fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• Knowledge of Citi Finance Infrastructure and Reporting is a plus

• Knowledge of banking products and accounting is a plus

• Amenable to work on Mid-shift (3PM -12MN)

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to develop strong partnership with various stakeholders

• Able to handle high volume of work, adapt to change, and work effectively under pressure

• Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Excel)

• Knowledge of innovation and digital tools is a plus

Education:

• College graduate with a degree in business, preferably in Accountancy or Finance

• CPA is an advantage
