The Associate Director of AMI Curricula is responsible for the development of curricula across Allergan Medical Institute educational programs, primarily new product/indication launches and small group programs. Main responsibilities include collaboration with key stakeholders (AMI Programs team, Customer Marketing teams, Training Centers team, Design & Internal review team, etc) to develop content to achieve our educational objectives across the HCP learning journey.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Lead the development of AMI curricula across all new product/indication launches and small group programming
- Strategic oversight of AMI content and tactics as it relates to a new product/indication launch, including:
- Go to market strategy for training activities across in-clinic, in-field, in-center, and digital channels
- Responsible for collaborating with Regulatory Affairs on obtaining FDA approval of all launch training materials (FDA-mandated proctoring videos, supplemental training materials, etc)
- Strategy for Faculty speaker training and content reviewed
- Ongoing Faculty training post-launch
- Development of all training materials, videos, slide decks, etc, aligning to brand strategy, KOL review, and approved label
- Management of agency partners and content designers to ensure content adheres to creative and curricula briefs, brand guidelines, and MLRC review guidelines
- Management of ‘Launches/SGHO AMI pillar’ team members
- Oversight of all small group hands on program content development
- Responsible for capturing KOL advisor feedback across all AMI launch initiatives
- Translating key strategic initiatives into plans and go-to-market tactics for new AMI engagement programs
- Coordinating cross-functional internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of AMI Engagement initiatives
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with KOLs, thought leaders, and other key stakeholders
- Coordinating with, and training HCP partners to ensure the execution of successful training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 10 years related experience is preferred.
- Experience in curricula development
- Experience on product/indication launches
- Experience managing a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiar with Veeva.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of FDA and regulatory statutes as applied to Allergan Aesthetics products, with the ability to function in an environment controlled by outside regulatory entities.
- Knowledge of procedure training, consultation, business-to business (B2B) and selling skills are desired.
- High degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment.
- Occasional flexibility in work hours, including weekends, may be required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel up to 40%. Evenings, overnight, weekends, domestic is required.
Language and Verbal Skills:
Individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Analytical and Reading Skills:
Ability to read, understand and abide by company procedures. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and report on findings.
