Establish and maintain observability practices, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and dashboards using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or equivalent.
Drive DevSecOps best practices, including IAM design, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, patching, and secure configurations.
Partner closely with engineering teams to improve deployment velocity, system reliability, and operational excellence.
Troubleshoot complex production issues, lead root cause analysis (RCA), and drive long-term corrective actions.
Optimize cloud cost, performance, scalability, and resource utilization.

Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to continuous improvement of incident response processes.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, owning systems and driving solutions from problem identification through implementation and operation.
Contribute to defining, evolving, and enforcing DevOps and platform engineering standards across teams to improve reliability, security, and developer productivity.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Engineering roles.
Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodeBuild/CodeDeploy.
Deep hands-on experience with AWS services across compute, storage, networking, and observability.

Good understanding of security principles, TLS/SSL, certificates, and secure system design.
Experience with CDN and caching technologies (e.g., AWS CloudFront).
Proven ability to work with and guide software engineers on production readiness and operational best practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
