Job Details

Are you a logistics professional ready to leverage your supply chain expertise in a high-impact technology role?

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Senior Implementation Specialist to join our TMS team, where you'll bridge the gap between transportation technology and real-world freight operations. In this role, you'll lead implementations of the ONESOURCE Pagero TMS solution, partnering with freight buyers to optimize their transportation operations and onboarding carriers to expand our network ecosystem.

This is an ideal opportunity for a logistics expert who thrives on problem-solving, enjoys client-facing work, and wants to apply their transportation industry knowledge to software implementations. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of global clients, translating their freight management needs into technical solutions that drive real business results.

About the Role

As a Senior Implementation Specialist, you will:

  • Be part of TMS implementations for freight buyers, configuring the platform to match their specific shipping workflows, carrier requirements, and operational processes
  • Onboard and integrate carriers into the network, ensuring seamless connectivity between buyers and their transportation partners
  • Act as a logistics subject matter expert on cross-functional implementation projects, translating business requirements into technical specifications
  • Partner with clients throughout the implementation lifecycle - from discovery and design through configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Resolve complex configuration challenges involving freight routing, carrier integrations, rate management, and shipment visibility
  • Collaborate across teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Support) to deliver end-to-end transportation management solutions
  • Help develop project documentation and maintain implementation plans that keep projects on time and within budget

About You

You're an ideal fit for this role if you have:

Required:

  • Logistics/Transportation background: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in freight management, supply chain operations, transportation planning, or carrier operations
  • TMS expertise: Direct experience with Transportation Management Systems and/or Transport Administration platforms
  • Industry knowledge: Understanding of freight buying processes, carrier networks, shipping workflows, rate management, and logistics compliance
  • Technical aptitude: Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP), digital data flows, and ideally SQL or basic scripting
  • Implementation experience: Background in software configuration, system integrations, or IT project delivery
  • Client-facing skills: Proven ability to train users, present solutions, and resolve customer issues professionally
  • Communication: Excellent Swedish and English skills (written and spoken)

Preferred:

  • Experience with EDI or carrier integration protocols
  • Knowledge of e-invoicing, AP/AR processes, or compliance requirements in EU/APAC markets
  • Background in Supply Chain Management systems or concepts

What Makes This Role Unique:

This isn't a traditional logistics role, nor is it a purely technical position -it's the perfect intersection of both. You'll use your transportation expertise daily while expanding your technical capabilities, working with enterprise clients to transform their freight operations through technology.
