Area Manager - UK, Vacation Rental Partnerships
Manages and develops the portfolio of a given market(s). Coaches and inspires team members to achieve/exceed their targets. Sets expectations for team members and provides market reviews to leadership, participating in target setting procedures. Motivates the team and creates an inclusive and diverse environment.

What you'll do

  • Develop and regularly review individual development plans, performance, and learning needs, providing constructive feedback and ongoing coaching.

  • Clarify roles, accountabilities, and decision-making, and coach the team to prioritize and link daily work to broader objectives while managing workloads and deployment to match skills with work requirements.

  • Hire and onboard new team members, fostering high team morale, an inclusive culture, strong productivity, and celebrating team wins.

  • Plan and deliver industry events with the team, within budget, including representing the organization through keynotes and panel presentations.

  • Build and maintain strong in-market relationships with partners, suppliers, and industry associations.

  • Develop and monitor measures to ensure products, services, and solutions continue to meet or exceed customer* needs and expectations.

  • Identify and position differentiated product, service, and solution bundles that clearly communicate the company’s value proposition versus competitors.

  • Create and present logical, audience-tailored business cases to drive resolution and achieve favorable outcomes for business needs.

  • Proactively identify internal and external stakeholder needs and concerns, maintain clear lines of communication and feedback, and communicate benefits to maximize value for all parties.

  • Maintain advanced understanding of the organization’s and competitors’ products, technologies, offerings, and marketing strategies; use tools and coaching to build team capability and tailor complex solutions to unique customer* needs.

  • Use industry, analytical, competitor, territorial, and customer* insights to identify key opportunities and create strategic plans to distribute, manage, and optimize global accounts in line with customer* needs.

  • Establish and foster trusted relationships with key decision makers on customer* accounts, look for signals of additional product/service needs, and navigate internal channels to ensure important account issues are identified and acted upon while generating new business opportunities.


Who you are

  • People management

  • Bachelor's/Master's or equivalent experience - 3+ years

  • Effective coach in managing diverse teams

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Impactful communicator
