Job Description

Independently perform Senior level support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks. Drives technical, safety, and process improvement efforts using a variety of industry methods.

Responsibilities

  •  Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct.
  •  Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
  • Works closely with Department Reliability Engineering regarding; Maintenance Program development, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analysis. May facilitate various workshops.
  • Considered an SME (subject matter expert) in advanced skilled trade disciplines
  • Contributes to developing and delivering technical training modules, OJT's, etc.
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
  • Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
  • Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
  • 10 hour shift, with overtime requirements on Sundays.

Qualifications

  •  HS diploma or GED required.
  • 10+ yrs. experience or college degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of work experience in electrical / controls trade.
  • Predictive maintenance background preferred.
  • CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired.
  •  Proficient user of a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) and intermediate skills with MS Windows.
  •  Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e., machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools).
