Job Description

The Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Analyst will be responsible for supporting and executing activities related to Business Continuity Management (BCM), Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery (DR), ensuring the organization’s operational resilience against incidents and disruptions.

This role requires close collaboration with multiple technical and business teams, active participation in impact analyses, coordination of recovery tests, risk management, and support for internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery processes.
  • Conduct and apply BIA – Business Impact Analysis, including information gathering, impact assessment, and documentation of results.
  • Map critical technologies, services, and processes, and develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs).
  • Work closely with technical teams to plan, coordinate, and monitor disaster recovery tests, including existing tests and the development of new scenarios.
  • Support and monitor internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation, evidence, and compliance with requirements.
  • Manage business continuity–related risks, identifying vulnerabilities and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Prepare technical and executive reports with test results, risk assessments, and continuity metrics.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams (technology, risk, compliance, and business) to execute and track continuity-related activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation such as policies, standards, procedures, reports, and management presentations.

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice. #LI-Remote


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • Based in Brazil.
  • Advanced English, with the ability to communicate in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams.
  • Strong skills in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management.
  • Knowledge of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) processes.
  • Experience coordinating and supporting disaster recovery tests.
  • Experience with internal and/or external audits.
  • Practical knowledge of ISO 22301 and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Business Continuity certification (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor, or equivalent).
  • Experience working in regulated or highly critical operational environments.
  • Previous experience in technology, financial services, or payment industry companies.
  • Experience with operational resilience frameworks and incident management processes.
