By joining the Expedia Group 2026 Global Internship Program as a Commercial Intern you’ll fully integrate into our inclusive community and gain a well-rounded experience of life at Expedia Group. In this role you will:

As a Commercial Intern you will join the Travel Partners & Advertising (TPA) division, where the focus is on fueling excellent and competitive supply across Expedia Group’s business-to-business (B2B) relationships. The Partner Growth & Agility (PGA) team sits within the TPA division and helps hotels and accommodation partners succeed on the Expedia platform. PGA supports partners across APAC by improving their setup, competitiveness, and end-to-end performance.

  • New Partners (NP)
    Approaches prospective hotel partners, introducing the benefits of an Expedia partnership and guiding them on their onboarding journey with our platform.

  • Account Management
    Works with existing partners to help them improve their rate, availability, content and overall performance.

  • Agile Competitiveness Team
    Focuses on solving competitiveness issues across B2C and B2B, helping partners win against other Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), wholesalers and meta channels.


Each team works closely with in-market Account Managers and uses a mix of data, tools, and structured playbooks to support partner growth. Your daily tasks will depend on the team you are assigned to but will include:

  • Reaching out to potential hotel partners: You'll be making high-volume outbound calls to prospective and current Expedia Group hotel & partners, helping to grow and optimize accounts whilst building strong client relationships.

  • Learning sales techniques: You'll work with your team to drive results by developing and applying different sales strategies to promote and negotiate the current portfolio of products to hotel partners.

  • Understanding partner needs: Through phone conversations, data analysis, and research, you'll identify what partners need and be able to recommend the best solutions and next steps.

  • Developing skills and build industry knowledge: Participate in mini-internal projects to hone your analytical and problem-solving skills, while developing business acumen and learning about industry trends.

  • Joining team meetings sharing weekly progress and supporting adhoc tasks linked to partner performance.

  • Keeping partner information accurate in internal tools.

If you join the New Partners team (NP) you will:

  • Review and research potential new high value hotels.

  • Make the first outreach to new hotels, identifying decision-makers, and sharing the benefits of a partnership with Expedia.

  • Send out contracts and support partners on their property setup on Expedia.

  • Monitor active onboarding cases - review content, room types, rates and availability to confirm the property is ready to go live.

  • Guide partners on basic self-service features in Expedia Partner Central.

  • Complete competitor reviews and other initiatives in support of the APAC acquisitions team.

If you join the Account Management team you will:

  • Review simple dashboards to spot availability gaps, rate issues or missing content.

  • Support outreach by phone to encourage partners to improve revenue.

  • Help partners understand how to update rooms, rates and restrictions.

  • Track partner responses and follow-up when needed.

If you join the Agile Competitiveness team (B2C & B2B) you will:

  • Focus on improving rate and availability competitiveness across markets.

  • Help identify root causes of un-competitiveness across OTAs

  • Support partner outreach campaigns that aim to improve competitiveness

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be available to commit to a full time internship program dates mentioned below:

  • 11 May – 28 August 2026

  • Must be currently completing an undergraduate degree and graduating 2027

  • Must have no more than two years of professional experience in a similar role.

  • Must be interested to work in sales, account management, partner/client success, or related field and show a willingness to engage with Expedia Group’s partners through regular phone calls.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Currently studying business, hospitality, economics, data, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in travel, ecommerce, or online marketplaces.

  • Should have strong English communication skills, be organized and show attention to detail.

  • Should have growth/learner mindset, demonstrate empathy and be inclusive.

  • Comfortable with a high volume of daily phone calls to prospective and current Expedia Group hotel partners.

  • Curious, proactive, and open to learning.

  • Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets and open to learning new tools.

  • Enjoy solving problems and using data to find simple insights.

  • Able to manage several tasks in a fast-paced environment.
