Watch this video to learn more about Citi

This role is a 12 months maternity cover as part of the Client Organisation Business Execution / Chief of Staff team, supporting directly the Chief Client Officer in the strategic planning and preparation of his internal and external engagements.

The Client Organization was established to support and complement the businesses and ensure that we deliver ‘OneCiti’ in a consistent and disciplined way through a centralised view of client strategy, segmentation and coverage model.

Within this organization, the Client Business Execution team manages the administrative and operational support of the Chief Client Officer; centrally leads the execution of key priorities and business routines; programme manages a selection of strategic initiatives; owns resource allocation, productivity, and the realisation of cost efficiencies; and drives culture and people initiatives with the rest of the Client leadership team.

The business associate is responsible for accomplishing results by organizing, coordinating or delivering administrative and performance activities – in collaboration with stakeholders throughout the firm. These tasks may include preparing briefings, helping coordinate townhalls and events, tracking of business activities and other administrative needs and participating to ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the effective execution of the Chief Client Officer's franchise and governance responsibilities, ensuring alignment with overall client engagement strategies.

  • Lead the coordination of the Chief Client Officer's global travel, including strategic conferences and council affiliations, proactively shaping agendas to optimize engagement with key internal and external client stakeholders.

  • Manage the client engagement agenda, including proactive engagement with coverage teams, meticulous follow-ups on client interactions, and drafting all client correspondence to ensure consistent and high-quality communication.

  • Oversee the development and coordination of comprehensive internal and external briefing materials for the Chief Client Officer, ensuring all client-related information is accurately presented and proactively managed.

  • Develop and execute the internal communications plan in partnership with communications partners, ensuring messaging effectively communicates client-centric strategies and outcomes.

  • Strategically prepare and refine the Chief Client Officer's internal and external engagements, communications, and talking points, collaborating with key stakeholders to articulate value propositions and foster strong relationships.

To deliver these responsibilities, the candidate will need to demonstrate a keen focus on forward planning, the ability to take a proactive approach to preparing for longer-term projects and deliverables, the ability to prioritise and think strategically, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Due to the breadth of the role and direct support of the Chief Client Officer (EMT member), the successful candidate will be a flexible, results-orientated individual with the ability to deal with ambiguity and a diverse range of businesses and information. The role demands a strong work ethic, and the individual should have a high level of integrity to deal with highly confidential data and be able to demonstrate initiative.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Outstanding employment performance, successful candidates will have experience in large complex / global organizations – in house experience desirable

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Some level of understanding of financial services and the way large financial institutions operate – knowledge of Citi’s organization, products and services will be a plus

  • Previous business execution and / or project management experience desired

  • Advanced excel / presentation skills essential
