Job Purpose
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire direct reports and their teams to pursue our HR Vision and Mission through innovation globally.
- Set short and long-term strategy and oversee short term action plans within HR for the Lines of Business. This strategy should be derived from overarching Global identified key objectives.
- Ensure high quality recruiting and onboarding in support of business needs.
- Drive towards a high level of engagement in our LOBs
- Ensure the timely administration of our performance management process.
- Lead all due diligence related to acquisitions, RIF’s and disposals impacting the LOBs.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all legal requirements.
- Drive process improvement and cost reductions across the LOBs.
- Manage Union relationships (or lack thereof) to optimize the business in each country.
- Collaborate with Corporate HR staff with regards to Talent Acquisition, Succession Planning, Training. Total Rewards and Shared Services.
- A primary duty is to exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct oversight of 8 and indirect oversight of approximately 16 other HR team members.
