The Implementation team in Money Movement Client Success is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of client implementations across Asia Pacific. This includes:
- Managing client onboarding, offboarding, and change activities across the full delivery lifecycle
- Owning implementation planning and execution, ensuring core milestones and deliverables are completed to required standards
- Driving a smooth, fully governed handover into Business-as-Usual (BAU) teams with all required controls and sign-offs completed
- Identifying opportunities to improve implementation processes, tools, and playbooks, and partnering with Readiness and Product teams to continuously uplift delivery standard
What an Implementation Consultant does at Visa:
As an Implementation Consultant, you will play a critical role at the intersection of clients, technology, and operations, ensuring Visa Direct Money Movement solutions are implemented at a scalable, compliant, and operationally sound manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and manage end-to-end implementation delivery, including objectives, milestones, dependencies, risks, and success criteria, in collaboration with internal stakeholders, project sponsors and clients
- Guide clients through the technical and operational integration of Visa Direct offerings, ensuring workflows, controls, and operating models are clearly understood and adopted
- Configure and prepare test environments, complete setup and configuration activities, and coordinate testing phases to support successful go-live outcomes
- Develop a deep understanding of how Visa Direct products operate within client environments in order to troubleshoot issues and resolve implementation challenges effectively
- Proactively identify, document, and manage delivery risks, ensuring appropriate governance, escalation, and mitigations plans are in place
- Anticipate potential issues or delays and drive corrective actions early to protect timelines and delivery quality
- Communicate implementation status clearly and consistently, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, risks, dependencies, and key decisions.
- Manage relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, escalating complex or high-impact issues with sound judgement
- Clearly articulate complex technical, regulatory, or operational topics and facilitate aligned decision‑making across multiple teams
- Act as a strong client advocate during implementation, while balancing Visa’s risk, compliance, and operational requirements
- Maintain high‑quality implementation documentation, and contribute to the development of reusable artefacts, templates, and best practices
- Support team capability building through knowledge sharing, peer coaching, and contribution to onboarding of new team members
- Stay current on product enhancements, regulatory developments, and ecosystem trends to ensure implementation approaches remain accurate and relevant
This role is based in Singapore and supports clients across Asia Pacific. The role will report to Director, Client Success APAC - Visa Direct Network and Operations.

As an Implementation Consultant, you will be part of one of Visa’s fastest‑growing businesses, directly influencing client trust, delivery quality, and the successful expansion of new Visa Direct use cases and markets across Asia Pacific. Your work will help ensure Visa continues to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure money movement solutions globally
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- Minimum 8 or more years of relevant work experience in implementation, technical delivery, project management, or similar roles within payments, fintech, or financial service
- Hands-on experience supporting API-based integration or technical delivery
- Working knowledge in payments, money movement, or transactional banking concepts
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex issues and drive clear outcomes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence and align stakeholders at different seniority levels
- Proven ability to operate effectively in matrixed, global organizations
- Client-centric mindset, with experience navigating complex delivery environments and managing competing priorities
- Data-driven approach to decision-making, with comfort using analysis to support recommendations
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required, proficiency in any additional Asian language is an advantage for broader regional engagement
- Bachelor’s Degree
What will also help:
- Experience with Visa Direct, Visa Payments Limited (VPL), Currencycloud, or similar real-time or cross border money movement platforms.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales, Solutions, Compliance, Treasury, BAU operations teams
- Exposure to regulated environments and an understanding of control, risk, and compliance considerations during delivery
- Project management qualifications (E.g. Prince II, PMP) is a plus
- Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Salesforce, MS Dynamics or common project management platforms
