    Position Overview

    Autodesk Fusion is the first 3D CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB tool of its kind, unifying design, engineering, electronics, and manufacturing to connect entire product development process into one cloud-based platform. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to join our scrum team in Bengaluru, India contributing to the Fusion Manufacturing Data Model (MFGDM). MFGDM is the foundation of the Manufacturing Cloud and the core data framework for Autodesk's flagship product, Autodesk Fusion. You will report to the manager and work in a hybrid mode.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with global MFGDM development group (US, Canada, India, China, and others) as part of a 6–7-member Scrum team

    • Design, implement, and validate MFGDM modules and components, while continuously developing technical skills and staying current with industry trends

    • Deliver high-quality, reliable software and assist in developing tooling to enhance service quality—like resiliency analysis, performance / scalability / stability monitoring, and automated testing

    • Can carry out best engineering practices into own work

    • Communicate technical ideas and participate in global technical discussions

    • Proactively look for opportunities to improve systems through innovation

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS or higher in computer science or related technical discipline

    • 2-5 years of software development experience in commercialized products or big-scale systems

    • Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript, or development in Java

    • Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React.js) for front-end exposure is a plus

    • Familiarity with building applications on AWS (e.g., Step Functions, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, Lambda)

    • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

    • Solid understanding of fundamental software development principles and methodologies

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in modern C++ development

    • Strong in OOPS Concept and SOLID principles

    • Awareness of modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot)

    • Working knowledge of relational or NoSQL database technologies

    • Willingness to take on challenges and step out of your comfort zone to grow
