Veracode is expanding our product marketing team, seeking a Director of Product Marketing to join and lead the product marketing function. In this role, you and your team are the strategic partners  to product management in product launches and responsible for guiding the GTM functions in positioning our products to win in the market. Ideal candidates for this position will enjoy managing a small team; as much as being hands-on in messaging, story-telling and engaging with sales and customers. What you will be responsible for:

• Leading cross-functional product launches and teams: Work with product management, sales, customer success to best position, launch and drive customer and prospect adoption for new features and products.
• Drive Product messaging that resonates with our target audience and differentiates our solutions in the Application Risk Management space. Create and maintain a clear, consistent voice across all marketing channels and materials.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Set clear objectives and performance metrics for team members and provide ongoing support and feedback.
• Partner with sales enablement for new product introductions, ongoing messaging training and new hires to make sure Veracode is positioned to win and to drive expansion opportunities in our customer base.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct market research as required to understand customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends. Use this intelligence to inform product strategy and marketing plans.
• Drive and create strategic content in partnership with content marketing to align with marketing campaigns to build and convert pipeline.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in product marketing leadership within cyber security industry, with a strong understanding of Application Risk Management.
• Managing and developing high performing product marketing teams back by 8+ years in overall product marketing experience.
• Excellent messaging and communications skills for key internal and external stakeholders
• Great experience partnering with sales on enablement, presentation development and deal support.
• Strong project management skills to support product launches and agile marketing efforts.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
