What You Will Do:
Red Hat Linux server management; storage management; file server management; access management; data backup; software and license configuration; and workstation support.
Knowledge of Linux Server internals to include DNS, File sharing protocols, DHCP, AD integration via LDAP, file system structures and permissions.
Working as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems (OS).
Understanding of data backup uses and technologies.
Install and configure software applications requested by end users.
Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements.
Must be able to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically, Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or 12 years of directly related experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
Qualifications We Prefer:
An active DoD Secret or Top-Secret clearance
Scanning using tools such as Nessus and SCAP
Familiarity with High Performance Computing (HPC) Environments
Experience with Enterprise Active Directory (AD) & LDAP
Familiarity with Databases including MariaDB, Oracle, and SQL
Experience dealing with Managed Anti-Virus (AV) solutions.
Scripting Experience (Bash, Python, Ansible) and Kickstart
Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products.
Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment.

The salary range for this role is 86,000 USD - 180,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
