Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor degree in Communications/Electrical Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience programming in C or C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in modem performance analysis and improvement (e.g., call performance, data performance, connectivity performance, thermal/power performance).
- Experience with LTE, 5G NR protocols (e.g., RRC, PDCP, RLC) development.
- Experience in cellular protocol stack (e.g., control plane, data plane, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience in 3GPP (e.g., NR, LTE, WCDMA).
- Ability to learn new technologies and new skills (e.g., 3GPP, software development, lab equipment, programming language, etc.).
- Excellent programming skill in C/C++/Python, with an understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP.

- Develop modem software and verify modem feature functionalities and performance to improve user experience.
- Identify modem software performance gaps by analyzing system requirement, design, software implementation, issue analysis, and simulation of real scenarios.
- Debug, analyze, and fix modem issues from factory, certification, field, and end users.
- Identify key performance scenarios and recreate the scenario in the lab environment for further research and development.
