Title: AVP-Network Engineer

Duties: Design, plan, and implement platform to host tools on cloud data centers of Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS. Provide post deployment support for availability and performance of platform. Manage global network and infrastructure for secure, fault tolerant, and reliable platform to grow connectivity based on internet and SaaS based solutions. Optimize network solutions for connectivity to platforms, products, and client environment. Design, install, and maintain hyperconverged solutions from Nutanix and Cohesity for compute and storage needs. Migrate legacy infrastructure of network to new hardware and design as per requirements of tools. Automate mundane and routine tasks to improve efficiency and infrastructure delivery. Support security initiative for compliance and regulatory boards. Automate virtual firewall set up and documentation in Azure. Extend footprint in corporate data centers and AWS to reduce overall time needed to deliver products. Build automation scripts using open source and proprietary tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation, to reduce lead time. Use security tools and applications, such as AWS Security Hub, SIEM, Sonari, and Red Lock, for cyber and information security. Exercise compliance adherence as per data security policy and conduct security audits on network fears, such as network router, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Engage in discussions with clients and internal members, such as Software Developers, Modelers, Site Reliability Engineers, Client Enablement team, Account Managers, and Project Management teams, for product delivery. Perform requirement analysis and solution design for products and services in the Cloud data centers. Serve as a Technical Project Manager between client’s technical team and internal teams.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field plus at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Network Engineer, Systems Engineer, or in a related IT position performing network hardware design and configuration, network troubleshooting, and network performance tuning. Full term of experience must include the following: applying knowledge of CISCO Switching, including STP, RSTP, MST, LAN tuning/protection, VTP, Vlans, 802.1Q/ISL trunk connections, and Network tables (MAC/ARP); working with Cisco WAN/LAN technologies and primary routing protocols, including EIGRP/BGP, OSPF/RIP/ISIS, redistribution, route maps, Access Control Lists (ACL), IP Subnet/Variable Length Subnet Masking (VLSM), SNMPv2/SNMPv3, and TACACS/Radius; working with enterprise network management tools, such as HPNA, SolarWinds, Cisco Smartnet, LiveAction, Splunk, or related technologies with WAN/SDWAN/SDN system analysis and design documents; and applying knowledge of ITIL change and configuration management and providing VoIP implementation and support.

This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
