Job Description

The Senior Manager, Growth Products is responsible for supporting the strategic and operational execution of the Andean Growth Products area, acting as the right arm of the Growth Products Director. The role translates the defined strategy into actionable plans and disciplined execution in contexts where payment models evolve, new actors emerge (fintechs, wallets, technological platforms), and payment flows different from traditional ones are developed, ensuring consistent advancement of the vertical’s priorities across the markets of the Andean region (Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, and Ecuador).

Nature of the Role

This role corresponds to a senior manager with a strong focus on execution, combining hands-on leadership, structured thinking and cross-functional coordination skills. He works closely with the Director, regional and global teams, and key customers, influencing without formal authority to ensure delivery and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Execution & Operating Model Support:

  • Support Visa´s Growth Products strategy focusing on execution of plans by product and by country, with disciplined monitoring.
  • Support the implementation and maturation of the vertical operating model, ensuring alignment between local, regional and global stakeholders.
  • Continuously monitor priorities and OKRs defined, identifying risks and dependencies.

Product & Non‑Card Rails Enablement:

  • Execute non-card rail, wallet interoperability, and participation in RTP ecosystem initiatives.
  • Coordinate pilots and deployments of New Payments solutions and schemes, ensuring technical, commercial and operational progress.
  • Support initiatives related to Stablecoins and AI facilitating local adoption of global capabilities.

Go‑to‑Market & Launch Readiness:

  • Manage end-to-end release preparation, including technical enablement, legal validations, and operational processes.
  • Coordinate internal teams to achieve readiness.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging, enablement materials, and business narratives.
  • Work with customers, fintechs, wallets, acquirers, and ecosystem partners to advance pilots, proofs of concept, and agreements.
  • Articulate and present complex business and technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders and decision makers.

Performance Management & Reporting:

  • Prepare executive updates, follow-up materials and analysis for regional and global leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization in execution, processes, and prioritization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in products, digital payments, fintech, technology or consulting.
  • Solid project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast paced and dynamic environments.
  • Strong capability to articulate and present complex business and technical concepts clearly.
  • Solid understanding of business cases, revenue models, and financial analysis.
  • High degree of independent thinking, collaboration, and influence across teams.
  • Ability to lead across multidisciplinary environments and drive outcomes without formal authority.

Desirable:

  • Working knowledge of new payment flows, non-card rails, wallets, RTPs or emerging models.
