Autodesk is seeking a dynamic and innovative Community Engagement Manager for our Design & Manufacturing (D&M) industry to drive growth through meaningful engagement, advocacy, and authentic human experiences. In this pivotal role, you will partner with our Design & Manufacturing industry team to align community initiatives with business objectives, leveraging engineers, innovators, and user-generated content to amplify narratives and deliver impactful industry experiences. You will serve as the bridge across Community, Industry Marketing, and Content Studio, ensuring unified efforts and impactful storytelling that deliver measurable results.

    Position Overview

    • Collaborate closely with the D&M industry team to design and implement a results-driven community strategy and roadmap that accelerates industry engagement and growth. Develop and implement engagement initiatives that leverage emerging AI/LLM trends to foster, grow, and support a vibrant community of engineers, designers, and industry thought leaders

    • Lead the creation, curation, and management of content, including user-generated content (UGC), to strengthen engagement and stewardship across the Design & Manufacturing Community ecosystem

    • Build a robust network of influencers, creators, and industry experts in Design & Manufacturing. Launch and manage structured programs (e.g., ambassador cohorts, beta testers, Expert Elites) to drive engagement and meaningful contributions. Activate industry professionals for credible stories, product tutorials, technical discussions, and AMAs, spotlighting expert voices through repeatable formats like case studies and live events. Expand our footprint across owned and third-party platforms where our customers naturally engage, such as Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, and specialized manufacturing forums

    • Develop frameworks that measure influence, credibility, advocacy, and sentiment across Design & Manufacturing segments and provide monthly insights to stakeholders, identifying emerging trends and opportunities

    Responsibilities

    • Deep knowledge of digital communities, UGC ecosystems, and the dynamics of the engineering and manufacturing sectors

    • Proven leadership in building and scaling community programs, ideally within D&M or technical environments

    • Expertise in multi-platform community engagement, including strategies for Reddit, Discord, LinkedIn, and emerging niche platforms relevant to manufacturing and design professionals

    • Experience activating influencers, creators, and industry experts to drive authentic advocacy and participation in technical communities

    • Ability to build brand advocacy and positive sentiment through credible, community-centered interactions

    • Exceptional communication and relationship-building, with the ability to connect people, ideas, and innovation through compelling technical narratives

    • Insight-driven mindset, turning community signals into scalable, human-centered strategies

    • Agility and a growth mindset, thriving in fast-paced environments and in new program development

    • Results-oriented approach, delivering measurable impact aligned with business and industry objectives

    • Skillful use of community data and analytics to inform, refine, and optimize engagement strategies

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 3–5+ years of experience in community management, social engagement, or digital content roles within Design & Manufacturing, engineering, product development, or related technical industries

    • Demonstrated ability to create, curate, and manage content across community platforms, including forums, social channels, and UGC-driven environments

    • Hands-on experience moderating and engaging communities on platforms such as Discord, Reddit, LinkedIn, and proprietary community ecosystems

    • Strong understanding of design and manufacturing workflows, with the ability to translate community needs and insights into actionable content strategies

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate inclusive, respectful, and high-trust online communities
