Work you'll do

As a Healthcare Solutions Senior Manager on the AI & Engineering Industry Solutions team, you will:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end Revenue Cycle projects within healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborate with executive and cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute strategies.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, issue/risk mitigation, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay current on advancements in enabling technologies, Epic systems, and healthcare analytics, and translate them into practical solutions.
  • Leverage industry knowledge, market insights, trends, and proven approaches to help clients confirm priorities and develop strategies that drive measurable value to the business and customer experience.
  • Support business growth objectives by shaping pursuits, developing proposals, strengthening relationships with key decision makers, mentoring and staffing team members, and participating in recruitment and retention.

Our practice delivers distinctive services to the country's largest national and regional health plans, 10 of the 10 largest healthcare systems and 8 of the 10 largest for-profit healthcare systems in the US. Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Engineering, or a STEM field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a consulting firm and/or healthcare provider or payer organization.
  • 6+ years of experience working with or reporting to C-level executives.
  • 8+ years of experience in revenue cycle operations in a healthcare consulting environment.
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams, including staffing, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel 50-75%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Health Administration, MPH, MS in Information Systems).
  • Experience in Patient Access, Coding, Revenue Integrity/HIM, Charge Integrity, and/or Patient Financial Services (5+ years).
  • Experience defining future-state business processes and operating models (3+ years).
  • Experience planning, tracking, and delivering projects using Microsoft Project and documenting processes in Microsoft Visio (3+ years).
  • Experience managing and delivering using Agile/Scrum frameworks (2+ years).
  • Experience with hospital and physician financial and patient accounting systems such as Epic, Cerner, Soarian, SMS, McKesson, Invision, HBOC, MEDITECH, IDX, and Eclipsys (3+ years in at least one platform).
  • Experience with analytics, digital, and robotics/process automation to improve revenue cycle outcomes while reducing costs, including tools such as Python, Tableau, and SQL (2+ years).

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $184,500 to $307,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
