Introduction to the team

We create and deliver tailored marketing strategies for Expedia Group’s brands, focusing on establishing strong connections and cohesive experiences for travelers and partners. We leverage our functional expertise and creative excellence to build trust and loyalty for our brands through innovative marketing approaches and technology.

The Events and Experiences team brings Expedia Group’s story to life through world-class presentations and live experiences for executives, partners, and employees. In this role, you will lead the visual storytelling and presentation design that powers our most important internal and external moments, from executive meetings and creative reviews to large-scale events like our annual partner conference, Explore.

In this role, you will:

• Design and own presentation templates and visual narratives across PowerPoint, Figma, and Keynote for executive meetings, creative presentations, and flagship events, including Expedia Group’s annual partner conference, Explore.

• Translate brand guidelines, visual identities, campaign creative, data, and written information into visually compelling presentations tailored for audiences ranging from executives, investors, press and media to teams across Expedia Group.

• Create and evolve presentation style guides, templates, toolkits, and best-practice guides that enable teams across Expedia Group to build modern, visually engaging, and on-brand presentations.

• Develop additional 2D design touchpoints for events and experiential activations – including event graphics and branding, stage and room visuals, invitations, takeaways, gifting, and merchandise – that create cohesive, memorable experiences.

• Lead the design and production of internal reporting materials, including wrap reports and project evaluations, that clearly communicate performance, impact, and key learnings.

• Act as a constant source of creative inspiration, curating best-in-class work and design trends to inform agency briefings, inspire internal teams and brainstorms, and continuously elevate the quality of our presentations and event design.

Experience and qualifications:

• You have 8+ years of professional design experience, including at least 3 years working cross-functionally within a highly matrixed organization and/or agency environment.

• You have a strong portfolio of presentation and 2D design work, and you can work quickly while maintaining a consistently high standard across PowerPoint, Figma, Keynote, and event or experiential briefs.

• You are comfortable working with and evolving an overarching design system, tailoring design to different audiences and objectives while upholding a consistent design language and aesthetic.

• You are proficient in core presentation tools and modern design software; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is a strong plus.

• You are an excellent visual storyteller and communicator, able to clearly articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams as well as external agencies and vendors.

• You are resilient, collaborative, and growth-minded – able to work across UK and US (PT) time zones, navigate change and ambiguity, meet ambitious and evolving deadlines with support from our Creative Operations team, and are excited to do some of the best work of your career at Expedia Group.

The total cash range for this position in West Hollywood is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
