Data Integration Lead - Vice President (VP) - Hybrid

The Data Integration Lead (Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst - C13) is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for driving the execution, enablement, and adoption of our comprehensive Data Transformation Plan. This role is crucial in supporting various use cases through seamless collaboration with Functions, Regions, and Lines of Business. The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of technical acumen, strong interpersonal skills, and project management expertise, thriving under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.

This position demands a highly analytical mind capable of filtering, prioritizing, and validating complex, dynamic material from diverse sources to support business requirements, address data issues, and facilitate in-depth analysis. We seek an intellectually curious, highly motivated self-starter and problem-solver with an unwavering focus and the agility to adapt within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Stakeholder Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, actively facilitating and executing day-to-day activities and meetings to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Project Oversight & Risk Management: Proactively examine and evaluate project status, meticulously identifying potential risks and issues. You will be responsible for escalating critical concerns, proposing necessary changes, and offering viable solutions to project leads.
  • Governance & Presentation Excellence: Determine the appropriateness of content and materials for Governance forums, providing expert guidance on revisions and refinements to ensure clarity, accuracy, and impact.
  • Program & Project Leadership: Manage the day-to-day operations of overall programs and projects, including overseeing associated dependencies. This involves effectively allocating and coordinating work within the team or across project groups to optimize efficiency and outcomes.
  • SDLC Lifecycle Coordination: Collaborate closely with business and technology partners throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Specifically, you will steer the definition of business and functional requirements, oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, and facilitate seamless implementation.
  • Issue Resolution & Policy Adherence: Support the timely resolution of project issues by devising and offering innovative solutions to complex problems. You will also provide expert interpretation and advice on policies, guidelines, and processes to ensure compliance and effective execution.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison & Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a central liaison with multiple Data teams and departments, serving as a primary subject matter expert for the planning and analysis of project deliverables and processes.
  • Independent Data Analysis & Reconciliation: Independently conduct thorough data analysis and reconciliations. You will execute tasks that directly contribute to various data initiatives, including but not limited to data requirements gathering, issues management, development of Data Quality rules, data lineage tracking, Data Governance frameworks, and taxonomy definition.
  • Business Requirements & Process Mapping: Develop clear and concise business requirements, meticulously mapping current and future state processes to drive operational efficiency and strategic alignment.
  • Strategic Design & Process Improvement Contribution: Contribute tactically to the strategic design and implementation of process improvement projects across various lines of business and functions, working in close partnership with Technology, Operations, and other support organizations.
  • Risk Assessment & Compliance: Appropriately assess risk in all business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding our clients and assets. This includes driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations,
    adhering strictly to company policy, applying sound ethical judgment in personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and proactively escalating, managing, and transparently reporting any control issues.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years relevant experience in a Data Business Analysis, Financial/Regulatory Reporting, and/or Data Business Transformation
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing and successfully implementing projects from inception to completion.
  • Domain Knowledge (Preferred): Knowledge of Finance products such as Securities Financing Transactions (SFTs), FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, and Loans is a significant advantage. Experience in financial control, accounting, and/or risk management is also a plus.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to be nimble, adjust priorities effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Integration & Strategic Thinking: Possesses a comprehensive understanding of how individual contributions and departmental functions collectively integrate to achieve overarching business objectives.
  • Data Acumen: Familiarity with core data concepts, data controls, Data Quality measurement methodologies, and data lineage principles.
  • Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that resonate with diverse audiences. Proven capability to drive consensus and influence relationships across all organizational levels.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
