About the team

The Procurement and Finance Services team at Zillow partners with business units across the company to deliver strategic sourcing solutions that drive value, innovation, and operational excellence. We collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure our sourcing strategies align with Zillow’s business goals and support the company’s growth and competitive advantage.

About the role

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a critical, consultative role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies for high-impact Shared Services categories. You will serve as a trusted advisor to VP+ stakeholders, leading complex negotiations, influencing strategic decisions, and managing enterprise-level supplier relationships. Your work will directly support People, Finance, Legal, and other Shared Services organizations, including People Technology and adjacent enterprise platforms. Through executive-level engagement, data-driven insights, and strong supplier governance, you will drive measurable cost savings, supplier innovation, and risk mitigation, positioning Zillow as a leader in strategic sourcing.

You Will Get To

  • Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies for high-impact Shared Services categories, including People/HR, Finance, Legal, and supporting enterprise technology platforms, managing significant spend and strategic supplier relationships.

  • Act as a strategic sourcing consultant to VP+ business leaders, influencing supplier strategy, operating models, and investment decisions through strong executive presence and business acumen.

  • Lead complex contract negotiations and facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, Technology, and business leadership to deliver successful, scalable partnerships.

  • Own end-to-end sourcing projects and events (e.g., RFx, negotiations, contracting) for enterprise technology and professional services, ensuring alignment with company objectives, budgets, and risk tolerance.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term supplier relationships that encourage innovation, continuous improvement, and optimized value while managing enterprise risk.

  • Lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), facilitate the Score carding process with strategic suppliers, including agenda setting, performance evaluation, roadmap alignment, and follow-through on outcomes.

  • Develop and manage supplier score carding, performance metrics, and governance models to track supplier health, value realization, and continuous improvement.

  • Analyze complex supplier, spend, and market data to identify cost savings opportunities, optimization strategies, and areas for supplier-led innovation.

  • Champion best practices in supplier management, sourcing processes, and sustainability initiatives across the Shared Services portfolio.

  • Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on complex negotiations, sourcing strategies, and stakeholder management.

  • Present sourcing strategies, recommendations, performance insights, and progress updates to senior and executive leadership to drive informed decision-making
