Job Description

Visa’s Global Sales and Commercial Operations team supports the execution and delivery of key global initiatives and planning activities across the company. Our mandate is to develop, design, and execute the strategic direction for Visa’s business operations and global sales organization, be the super connector for the markets, regions, global groups, and bring a consistent voice and ‘One Visa’ mindset. 

The team has the following key focus areas: Performance Management, Sales Analytics, Sales Excellence, Sales Enablement, and Sales Tools. This role will report into the Performance Management team which includes Scorecard, Sales compensation strategies and programs, Target setting, and Client Insights program.

The Sr. Manager will plan, measure, and track performance of Visa clients, with an emphasis on Global Accounts. They will support Global Account teams in setting targets and design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for monthly reporting.  They will provide advanced analytical insights to support key initiatives as needed. They will also serve as a key liaison to other client teams to address Performance Management needs across the organization.

Success in this role will require strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with internal teams, including Regional Business Operations and Sales Excellence, Global VAS and CMS, Finance, and other stakeholders. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Performance Management for Global Accounts: Oversee the monthly reporting for Global Clients, Global Tech Partners, and GMAC. Ensure accurate measurement and delivery of actuals versus targets, including detailed regional breakdowns for Account Executives and BPO teams across Sales, Performance (Net Revenue and PV) and other key metrics.
  • Target Setting: Partner with Global Account teams to establish annual, quarterly, and monthly targets, driving effective performance management and accountability.
  • Tableau Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions for Global Accounts, ensuring high standards in data visualization and user experience.
  • Strategic and Analytical Project Leadership: Deliver advanced analytical insights and business modeling using Tableau and Excel. Support high-impact initiatives and strategic business cases for senior leadership and actively contribute to ad hoc projects aligned with team and global objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Drive close collaboration with internal stakeholders, client teams, and data engineering to guarantee timely and accurate reporting. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize operational effectiveness.
  • Liaison for Performance Management Needs: Serve as the primary contact for other client teams, to address and support Performance Management requirements across the organization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
  • Advanced proficiency in the MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate Tableau development skills and knowledge of data visualization best practices. Tableau Desktop Certification preferred
  • Basic or intermediate SQL skills. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., R or Python) a plus
  • Solid grasp of data management systems and processes, including source systems, data feeds, ETL, data warehouses and marts, and data cube design
  • Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills
  • Demonstrated analytical acumen, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and drive business outcomes
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a track record of translating complex data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present clearly and persuasively to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a history of building effective partnerships with global teams and navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Capacity to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to evolving business needs and unstructured challenges
  • Strong focus on process improvement, with experience driving operational excellence and implementing best practices

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:  The estimated salary range for this position is $153,700 to $246,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).  Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
