The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $163,100.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.

Work You'll Do
As a Consultant, you will work with our diverse teams of passionate professionals to help solve for some of today's toughest cybersecurity challenges to enable or clients to achieve business growth and manage risk. Responsibilities include:
- Support end-to-end delivery of CSPM (Cortex Cloud) implementations: discovery, design, configuration, validation, and operational handoff.
- Configure posture policies, detections, and reporting to reduce cloud misconfigurations and improve risk visibility across multi-cloud environments.
- Implement secure cloud configurations using infrastructure as code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), GCP templates) and advise teams on secure-by-default patterns.
- Assess and improve Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), including integration considerations for Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity providers.
- Collaborate with Cloud/DevOps teams to embed security into pipelines and operating models, including DevOps security and identity-based microsegmentation concepts.
- Evaluate cloud networking and security architectures (connectivity, segmentation, network security controls, virtualization) and recommend pragmatic improvements.
- Contribute to client-ready deliverables (requirements, implementation plans, runbooks, operating procedures, and executive status updates).
- Work effectively in large, matrixed client environments; manage priorities and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Team
- Our Enterprise Security offering embeds security in all aspects of digital transformation by securing a client's technical backbone while enabling secure digital transformation. Includes security architecture, secure development and deployment, end-to-end cyber cloud capabilities, application security, and security for emerging technologies and connected products.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of practical experience with public cloud platforms (preferably Azure, AWS, and/or GCP).
- 2+ years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, and/or GCP Deployment Manager/templates.
- 2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems (administration, hardening, troubleshooting, or security support).
- 2+ years of experience working with APIs (consuming, integrating, or automating workflows).
- 2+ years of experience with cybersecurity technologies, protocols, and applications, with emphasis on cloud infrastructure security.
- 2+ years of experience with IAM/RBAC and cloud data security concepts and implementations.
- 2+ years of experience with Cloud DevOps security and familiarity with identity-based microsegmentation approaches.
- 2+ of experience with cloud networking models/connectivity, network security fundamentals, virtualization, and cloud computing concepts.
- 2+years of experience supporting or applying security best practices and compliance expectations (e.g., CIS Benchmarks, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
- 2+ years of experience with basic SQL and cloud command line interfaces (CLIs) (e.g., AWS CLI, Azure CLI).
- 2+ years of experience with SSO and identity providers (e.g., Okta, Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Google, OneLogin).
- 2+ years of experience delivering complex solutions in large customer environments (as an individual contributor and/or team lead).
- 2+ years of customer-facing experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal/written communication and team-oriented delivery.
- Scripting/automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Container and orchestration experience (preferably Kubernetes and Docker).
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Chef, Ansible, OpenShift).
- Additional cloud exposure (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Alibaba Cloud).
- Familiarity integrating with third-party tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk, Jira, Tenable).
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively
